Group Reporting Accountant

G&H are a world-leading specialist supplier of highly reliable photonics products and manufacturing solutions to customers around the world. Due to internal progression we are currently recruiting for a Group Reporting Accountant. This role is responsible for consolidating and reporting management accounts information, as well as the group’s controls testing programme and other ad hoc projects.

Main duties include;

Assist in the preparation of the G&H Group's half year and full year financial reporting

Liaise with the Group's external audit team as part of their audit of the Group's financial statements

Assist in the preparation of monthly management accounts, periodic financial forecasts and annual budgets.

Provide financial analysis of the Group's financial results and assess the impact of new accounting standards on the Group

Maintenance of the Group’s investor web site

Support with Group tax provision and computations

Ideal candidates will have the following;

Be a qualified accountant (ACA or equivalent) with experience of multi-currency consolidations

1. Be technically proficient in IFRS, tax experience would be advantageous
2. The ability to interact effectively with the different working styles of the various subsidiary finance teams across the Group
3. Possess high levels of professional integrity, honesty and personal credibility
4. Motivated to get things done and strives to exceed expectations
