Human Resources Intern

Scope of the role:

The Human Resources Intern will work on 3 main projects covering talent review & succession planning and compensation & benefits, while also working closely with the US HR Team on several process improvement initiatives.

Responsibilities

  • Talent Review & Succession Planning: Partner with HR Managers on the re-design of talent review and succession planning module including the revamping of templates and the development of a process time line
  • Compensation & Benefits: Review internal pay data and partner with internal and external stakeholders to propose compensation related recommendations
  • Compensation & Benefits: Partner with HR Managers to a review the criteria and guidelines governing aspects of current employee benefits and make recommendations as part of a move to harmonize aspects of our benefits framework across the US
  • Collaborate with the US HR team on process related efficiency initiatives, while assisting as needed in every day business transactions

Skills & Qualifications

  • Candidates are required to be pursuing a Graduate Degree in Human Resources or MBA with a HR concentration, with a graduation time frame of between December 2023 and June 2024
  • Strong work ethic and ability to work autonomously while having a team focus
  • Ability to learn quickly and take on new responsibilities
  • High attention to detail and ability to manage multiple responsibilities simultaneously
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
  • Highly developed skills in Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint
