Scope of the Job:

Daily management of material flow to optimize production labor utilization and convert sales orders into revenue in a timely manner.

Duties/Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for material movement, including shipping and receiving, material issues, returns and receipts, cycle counting and physical inventories, and all stockroom transactions
  • Perform weekly cycle counts and annual physical inventories
  • Reconcile all daily material transactions and maintain proper records
  • Assists in the management and maintenance of appropriate levels of floor stock and consumable inventory
  • Manage and maintain several stocking locations within the factory, including cleanroom inventory locations
  • Manage nonconforming material process for component and customer owned inventory
  • Communicate material expedite requests to Purchasing team
  • Communicate shipping demand schedule to Production leadership to pull units from WIP for shipment
  • Maintain housekeeping within the stockroom and inventory locations
  • May direct others at times to complete projects and cover for management during absences
  • Assist in an ERP system maintenance
  • Other duties as assigned

SPECIALIST FUNCTIONAL KNOWLEDGE

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Must have hands-on knowledge of and be skilled in all aspects of production control, inventory control, shipping and receiving, and all stockroom functions
  • Must have first-hand knowledge of and be able to perform all tasks associated with material movement
  • Microsoft Office and computer literate
  • Good written and verbal English communication skills
  • Ability to research and solve inventory discrepancies independently
  • Ability to work with minimum direct supervision
  • Capable of following and creating standard procedures and to initiate changes when required
  • Must be capable of moving material within the building and able to lift loads of up to 30 lbs

EXPERIENCE

3+ years of experience in Inventory Control, Materials Planning, or Shop Floor Control in an environment handling small delicate microelectronic components and assemblies
