For over four decades, G&H | ITL has been an industry-leading outsource partner for true end-to-end design, development, and manufacturing of life-saving medical technology, diagnostic devices, and laboratory instruments. We are currently recruiting for additional Production Operators at our site in Ashford, Kent. This role requires a driven individual that can work well as part of a small team. It is essential that the Production Operator takes ownership of customer driven deadlines and has the motivation to achieve targets set to provide the maximum customer satisfaction.

Production Operators need to be flexible and adaptable in order to contribute to various projects within the production environment, and business as a whole.

The role will fully support the manufacturing facility in assembling, testing and commissioning instruments.

Main duties include;

Testing and building of electronic instruments

Assembly of products as required

Be able to recognise components

Good Soldering skills

Maintain good ESD practise

To train and pass on knowledge to other staff members when required

Logging onto the ITL ERP system when manufacturing product in production

Be able to manage time efficiently and work to tight time scales

Working to company standards as written in the QA Manual and SOPs

Working to company Health and Safety requirements

Working to G&H | ITL workmanship standards

Ideal candidates will have the following attributes;

Experience of working in a factory environment an advantage

Team Player

Good communication skills are essential

Instrumentation / Mechanical build an advantage

IPC trained an advantage

A willingness to learn new products as well as train new members of staff when required
