An excellent opportunity for an experienced Production Planner to join our Fibre Optics facility in Torquay. G&H Torquay is a fast-growing business specialising in design and manufacture of passive fibre-optic components, fibre lasers, and fibre optic modules for performance in rugged environments such as under sea and in space. As a production planner you your support the planning and scheduling of operations to achieve on time delivery.

Main duties include;

Creating and maintaining jobs in line with the ERP system process to ensure WIP valuations and capacity planning

Identifying any upcoming capacity issues and work closely with the relevant team members to troubleshoot any potential issues

Provide accurate lead times to sales and customer services teams and KPIs

Monitor and analyse reports on manufacturing data sets e.g. On Time Delivery, inventory and schedules

Ideal candidates will have the following;

Production planning and scheduling experience

Advanced Excel skills

A working knowledge of FMEA and Root Cause Analysis

WIP Track and associated software knowledge

Demonstrated proficiency of ERP systems (Syspro, SAP, Sage, Oracle)
