Full Product DescriptionProduct description
Sabre Ti employs the very latest ITAR-free Long Wave Thermal Image technology. A 640 x 480 17μ detector is at the heart of Sabre Ti giving tank detection at 5.4 km.
The x6 channel is capable of recognising a main battle tank (defined as a 2.3 x 2.3 metre target) in clear air at a range of 4 km, and shall identify the same target at 2.5 km.
As with other variants, Sabre Ti is designed to fit within a very compact space envelope. The sight input lever (”link”) arm connects to the armament via the turret link and incorporates adjustment for elevation boresight corrections. The link arm can be fitted in any orientation to the left or right of the sight body, depending on turret configuration, with a selection of reticules available to the gunner.
As a result, it can be configured to fit most armoured fighting vehicles. It’s Day and Night fighting capability, when combined with a LRF, makes Sabre an attractive solution available at a competitive price.
Sabre Ti allows the user to see deep into the battlefield, increasing their surveillance and target acquisition range and delivering impressive performance at night and day.
