The G&H MQH Series provides RF drive solutions for acousto-optic Q-switches used in pulsed laser systems. Designed for applications requiring controlled optical switching and laser pulse management, the family supports integration into materials processing equipment, scientific instrumentation and OEM laser platforms.

Digital modulation inputs support fixed or variable pulse width control. The selected configuration determines the available power control mode, with options across the family including switched analog control, first pulse suppression and pre-pulse kill. These modes allow the driver to be matched to the operating requirements of the laser system.

The range includes standard and -2S output configurations. The -2S version divides RF power between two outputs supplied by a common oscillator, with modulation applied to both outputs together. This arrangement supports applications requiring a shared RF drive signal across compatible loads.

Adjustable RF output power enables matching to the associated Q-switch within the driver’s specified operating limits. Forced air cooling is required and should be considered alongside the electrical connections, control interfaces and system protection requirements during integration.
