We're looking for a skilled Manufacturing Technician to join our dynamic team, where you'll play a critical role in driving continuous improvement and ensuring exceptional quality in our production processes.

What You’ll Do:

As a Manufacturing Technician, you'll be at the forefront of our production operations, ensuring everything runs smoothly and efficiently. Your key responsibilities will include:

Technical Support: Provide hands-on technical assistance across the production floor, supporting the escalation of technical issues and troubleshooting to minimize downtime.

Process Improvement: Collaborate with our Continuous Improvement Engineer to reduce waste, improve yields, and lower product costs using Lean manufacturing practices.

Product Flow Management: Oversee and manage product on hold, ensuring timely resolution and reintroduction into the production line.

Quality Assurance: Address any product quality risks, implementing corrective actions and ensuring compliance with ISO and AS standards.

Training & Development: Support and deliver training on new and existing processes, driving improvements through enhanced working practices and process corrections.

Equipment Maintenance: Ensure first-line equipment checks and preventative maintenance are carried out promptly and effectively.

What You’ll Bring:

We're looking for candidates with a strong technical background and a proactive mindset. Ideal qualifications and skills include:

Experience: 3+ years in a technical production environment.

Education: HNC in Engineering or a Mathematics-based subject is desirable.

Technical Knowledge: Familiarity with Lean Manufacturing techniques, Syspro (or equivalent), and an understanding of KPI metrics.

Problem-Solving Abilities: Strong analytical skills with the ability to identify and address issues quickly and effectively.

Teamwork & Communication: Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively within a team.
