Chemically Toughened Glass
G&H | Phoenix is pleased to introduce a revolution in toughened glass technology. Known as Armourdillo™, we have designed an optical glass that has been designed specifically for chemical strengthening. It still maintains optical properties and can be coated like any other optical glass, but it is 6x stronger than traditional protective glass. All parts are made and chemically strengthened at our facilities in North Wales, UK.
Many designers are now replacing their traditional glass front windows with chemically toughened glass to protect their optical systems and extend their life in harsh environments. Using our chemically toughened glass can save you hundreds of thousands in repairing and replacement costs.

G&H | Phoenix is extremely proud to be currently working alongside high profile defence contractors, manufacturing a range of complex mechanical and optical components and assemblies for them. For example the head-up display units on the M345 JET are manufactured, coated, and assembled by G&H | Phoenix.
