Product description

The G&H AODF 4100-6 TeO₂ 1066–1100nm Near-Infrared Acousto-Optic Deflector is designed for beam steering and optical scanning applications in the near-infrared spectral region. It uses TeO₂ as the acousto-optic medium and operates in a longitudinal acoustic mode.

The device is specified with random input and output polarization, supporting use in systems where polarization is not fixed by the deflector specification. Its RF configuration is centred at 100 MHz, with 50 MHz RF bandwidth and a 60 MHz goal, supporting controlled beam deflection across the operating range.

The AODF 4100-6 uses a two element phased array electrode and is water cooled. With a 4 mm diameter active aperture, low insertion loss and specified MTBF test condition, it is suitable for OEM near-infrared laser systems, optical instrumentation and specialist beam steering applications.

Key features

  • Supports near-infrared laser beam steering across the 1066–1100nm wavelength range
  • TeO₂ acousto-optic medium supports efficient NIR beam deflection
  • Two element phased array electrode supports controlled optical scanning
  • Water-cooled operation supports use in active laser systems
  • Random input and output polarization supports integration where fixed polarization is not required
  • Defined active aperture supports integration with controlled NIR beam paths
  • Low insertion loss supports efficient optical system performance
  • Specified MTBF condition supports confidence in laser system integration
  • Suitable for OEM laser platforms requiring stable near-infrared beam positioning
  • Designed for specialist photonics systems where RF bandwidth, cooling and beam control are important
