We are seeking a talented and experienced Content Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for creating, developing, and managing engaging content that aligns with our brand’s voice and marketing objectives. The Content Specialist will report to the Global Marketing Communications Manager and play a key role in crafting content that promotes our photonics products and services, establishes thought leadership, and enhances our company’s presence in the industry.

Responsibilities;

Develop high-quality content aligned with the brand story and marketing objectives for various marketing channels

Create and manage the content calendar for written work, both technical and non-technical (Examples of written work include: blog posts, press releases, articles, whitepapers, case studies, newsletters, emails, video scripts, webinars, annual and interim reports, and interviews.)

Collaborate with cross-functional teams (e.g. product managers, engineers, and other stakeholders) to ensure content is accurate, engaging, on-brand, and resonates with the target audience.

Take ownership of the company's internal newsletter, including planning, writing, and editing content to keep employees informed about company news, achievements, upcoming events, and important updates

Conduct research on industry trends and best practices to inform content development

Edit and proofread content created by other team members

Ensure all content is optimized for search engines (SEO) and adheres to brand guidelines

Track and analyse content performance metrics to inform future content development

Ideal candidates will have the following;

Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, or related field

3+ years of experience in content creation, preferably in a technical or scientific industry

Exceptional writing and editing skills with a keen eye for detail

Ability to convey complex technical information in a clear and concise manner

Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously

Solid understanding of SEO best practices and digital marketing concepts

Experience with Canva or other graphic design tool is a plus
