G&H Unveils Advanced Photonics and Optical Systems at Laser World of Photonics 2025
June 2025 – Ilminster, United Kingdom
G&H (LON:GHH), the global innovator and manufacturer of photonics, optical systems, and life sciences solutions, will be exhibiting one of the largest capability portfolios in high-tech developments at Laser World of Photonics 2025, taking place from June 24–27, 2025, at the Munich Exhibition Centre, Germany. G&H will be located in Hall B2, Booth #303.
Laser World of Photonics is the leading international trade fair for photonics components, systems, and applications. Since 1973, it has set global benchmarks for scale, relevance, and innovation, attracting key players in research, application, and industry. The show features eleven exhibition areas covering the full photonics spectrum, including laser systems for manufacturing, data transmission, biophotonics, imaging, integrated photonics, and more.
Photonic Solutions
G&H will highlight its acousto-optic (AO) and fiber-optic technologies designed to power the next generation of semiconductor, AI, and quantum systems. These include:
- High-performance acousto-optic deflectors and modulators (AODs/AOMs) used in semiconductor wafer inspection, laser cutting, marking, and measurement.
- A full portfolio of UV, visible, and NIR AO components engineered within a vertically integrated ecosystem - from crystal growth to final testing - to ensure precision, reliability, and manufacturing scalability.
G&H’s fiber optics solutions will also be on display, including:
- The Visible PM Coupler, a key component for high-power lasers, metrology, and biophotonic applications such as DNA sequencing and flow cytometry.
- Advanced devices like the Fiber-Q® ULTRA and polarization diverse receivers (PDRs) - all essential to laser engines for sensing, imaging, and complex photonic systems.
Additionally, G&H will showcase photonic modules for OEM integration into biomedical imaging, fiber sensing, and semiconductor processing equipment. As a vertically integrated partner, G&H simplifies the supply chain by offering a single source for design-for-manufacture-and-assembly (DFMA), engineering, testing, production, and full system integration. Whether incorporating G&H-built components or rigorously qualified third-party parts, these modules are developed to meet unique customer requirements with a focus on image quality, speed, stability, and long-term reliability. With deep application expertise and proven design insight, G&H helps OEM customers optimize system performance while minimizing cost and development time.
“At G&H, we're seeing unprecedented demand for high-performance photonics across sectors like AI, quantum, and semiconductor inspection. Our strength lies not just in the depth of our component portfolio, but in how we collaborate with customers to engineer solutions that are scalable, manufacturable, and future-focused. Laser World of Photonics is the perfect forum to explore what’s next together.” - Stratos Kehayas, President, Photonics at G&H.
Expanded Global Capabilities in Optical Systems
G&H’s Optical Systems division continues to grow in both scale and scope, strengthened by its recent acquisitions in the UK and US. With expanded design and manufacturing capabilities now fully integrated across the Group, G&H offers one of the most comprehensive optics platforms in the industry.
This includes:
- Advanced optical solutions for avionics and optomechanical assemblies, including sighting systems, periscopes, eyepieces, and cockpit instruments
- High-performance optical coatings, reticles, and patterned lithography precision optics manufacturing, such as thin-film coatings, glass molding, annealing, and diamond turning
- Full-service CNC polishing, edging, and prism shaping for complex, customized components
- Treatment techniques such as Superpolishing and Low Surface Roughness Polishing (LSRP) for achieving optical finishes
Together, these capabilities position G&H as a trusted partner for customers seeking precision, scalability, and performance in mission-critical optical systems.
“We’ve built a truly global optical systems footprint - one that brings together system design, optical fabrication, advanced thin-film coating and assembly, test and build. The recent expansion of our capabilities means we can now support customers at every stage, from complex prototype development through to full-scale production, globally with advanced design and manufacturing centres in the UK and US, including the supply of Germanium blanks and complete optical components. We’re excited to show the industry what that looks like in Munich.” - Jamie Pindard, Executive Vice President, Optical Systems at G&H.
